Additional states for son

I use TurboTax Home & Business for myself. I also file my son's taxes. While he has lived for the most of 2019 in the same state as myself (ME), this year he has also earned some very small salaried income in 2 other states (OK and CA). How do I file his information of these two earnings in two additional states? Do I do that from within the TurboTax Home & Business? Nome much does this additional state software cost?

You get 1 free state program in the Desktop programs Deluxe and above.  Each additional state is currently 39.99.  But the state won't be available until later like in January.

Does one buy these additional states from within the filing software or somehow separately?

Yes from inside the program when you go to the state tab.  But not until the states come out.
