2018 New York state return

I just tried to send (today is Jan 6, 2020) my 2018 NY State return electronically but message said site closed for the season and to mail it, But New York only accepts electronically, what do I do?

New York state allows mailing of state tax return if the software the taxpayer is using does not support e-filing.  The 2018 TurboTax software does not support e-filing since the TurboTax e-file servers have closed for tax year 2018.
