1099

I just filed 1099's through your software. The status is filed. Do you recommend I what for approved to actually mail them out will take to long. Also, I thought I paid for state efile as well. Did I misunderstand? I have TurboTax Advantage.

Can you clarify your post. 

It is somewhat confusing as the profile indicates "TurboTax Business", you are referring to filing 1099s and then mentioned a state return and TurboTax Advantage.

Did you efile 1099s that you issued to contractors who worked for you ?    If so the forms were efiled to the feds and you must distribute the contractors copies to them yourself.  You can print them and mail them, hand them out or even attach them to an email as long as you issue them by 1/31. 

The 1096 & 1099s  are NOT sent to the state ... only to the feds.

Hi. 

I am sorry for misspeaking.  I completed and Efiled the 1099's and received an email indicating that they were "filed" with the IRS but that I will recieved an approval or such email at a later date. Should I hold of mailing them just in case there is an error or will the processing take to long (after Jan 31st). 

My product is below. I thought it has both state and IRS filing but now I am not sure.

review carefully, don't supply incorrect 1099-NEC forms to your contractors,

BUT, if you make a mistake you can issue a corrected 1099-NEC.
