My father moved from CA to GA and lived with us in 2017, and promptly moved out of country in the same year. He did obtain GA driver's license and registered to vote in GA, using my home address for all these. In 2018, he visited us for less than 2 months. He does not have any income from the state of GA. He does have incomes from social security and capital gain from stock trades from 2018. Does he need to file a state tax considering that he has moved out of country but visits from time to time for a month or two at a time?
