Users are experiencing an accepted return with TurboTax and a pending status with the IRS. The IRS is doing its best to keep up with this year's circumstances. Please refer to the IRS Website: https://www.irs.gov/refunds for updates on your personalized situation.

2-26 Update: Why is my return still pending (With TurboTax?)
Earlier this tax season, many people noticed that their return was "pending" for more than the average 48 hours. This pending status meant we noticed an issue that may have caused your return to be rejected and did an extra review to assess the reason it was flagged, resolved it for you, or identified what you needed to do to ensure everything is accurate and your return is accepted.

New Mexico State, as of (2/26) is currently experiencing a backlog building up. This week, they are increasing the volume of returns retrieved, and expect to clear the pending backlog within the next few days.

If you are not filing with New Mexico and it's been 48 hours since you've submitted your return, please comment on this thread.

I got the email from Turbotax a few days ago that my California return was rejected (meaning, Turbotax rejected it NOT the State because Turbotax had never sent it to the state) . Once I got into my desktop version of Turbotax and opened up my return, I followed the instructions and, thank God, was able to resubmit my California return and California accepted it about an hour later.

For those of you still suffering, try emailing the executives as well as the Office of the President of Intuit. This is the only way to get help it appears. May God help you through this. I sympathize with you all.

Still waiting after 72 hrs state is pending still. Iv payed for all extra features and still cannot contacts turbo my federal says irs has no knowledge of it being accepted this just wonderful.

I filed on February 12th and it still says pending. What is going on. I am having 130 dollars taken out to file even though i thought it was free. I did everything I could. I want my money

Finally received notice that my ME state tax return was accepted. This took way too long but I'm happy it resolved.

I opened my return, checked for updates, and updated the software. I did not enter any new information, and the state and federal refunds remained the same. I went to the "File" section, and refiled my state return. It was accepted in 15 minutes.

I filed on the 11th still says pending for Fed and state.?? And Havent gotten a email saying rejected.. Iam in IDAHO

I filed on 1/21/21 without knowing refunds weren’t being accepted until 2/12. Turbo tax efile information says IRS received my return 2/10/21 but it still says pending and I never received an email that they accepted or rejected my return it’s now been over a week and the status remains the same PENDING. And the IRS website says nothing no information matches.

My federal taxes got accepted the next day and the state taxes got accepted but I still see no estimated day wen I should receive them? Please help and it still shows pending as well on the california taxes but my federal taxes should be in my account by March 9

My Federal and State taxes were e-filed and transmitted on 2-4-21 and my AZ State tax filing is still pending. I have already received my Federal Refund. What's going on with Turbotax??? I have received no notices from Intuit.

Filed my return on 2/17/2021 and it is still showing as pending on 2/22/2021. I'm not sure what is going on with my return as it has always been accepted either the same day or the day after I file. Any answers? I did not receive any other email from Turbo Tax besides the original email stating that they would send me another email to state that I was accepted.

I’ve called turbo 8 times already, today I was on the phone for at least an hour. 4 people looking at my return trying to figure out what’s going on and fed and state have no record of my return. They couldn’t figure it out but will give me an update within 48 hours. Filed 1/29 still pending today 2/22

I e filed my return on 2-5-2021 and it is still pending in 2-22-2021. I have never recieved a email or anything stating I need to do anything and the IRS has no record of my return
