State tax e-file issue- incomplete information sent to state
When e-filing PA state return, TurboTax does not include the return sent to other states. I live in PA but work in DE. It’s been 3 years that the State of PA came back and asked me to send over my return with DE, to justify the tax credits paid there. This did not happen for the one year I chose to file PA state tax by paper copies (mail) in which I had included the DE return printout.
PA-DE does not have reciprocal agreement. However, tax dollars paid to DE should get me credits for PA tax. TurboTax should know that and automatically e-send a copy of DE return when filing to PA.
Also annoying there is not an option to send formal feedback on TurboTax Desktop Mac. This online AI bot is not helpful.
