I am e-filing a joint return for Illinois.  As part of the step to sign the return It asked me If I filed a return last year and the AGI from 2020 return.  It is now asking if my wife filed a return and her AGI.  We filed jointly last year.  So do I say yes for both of us and enter the same AGI for both, or should I just say yes for me and no to the question about her filing a return last year?

If you filed a joint return, you will answer Yes for each of you when asked if you filed a return.  You will also use the same AGI.
