I moved from TX which has no state income tax to NC which does have a state income tax.  Will Turbo Tax automatically calculate the amount of NC state income tax I owe?

    Yes, TurboTax will calculate and e-file your NC state taxes.  But, you must "add" a North Carolina state tax return in the State section of TurboTax, and complete the TurboTax interview questions for the NC state return.

    Yes and no.  You'll have to do some manual entries to allocate your income between TX & NC.
