Ohio - Scholarship Donation Credit - Program Input Restricti

Hello,

I have the desktop version of TurboTax Deluxe and I am working in the Ohio State Module. For the Scholarship Donation Credit (SGO), it appears you can only input two different organizations for the credit. My spouse and I have spread this credit out over 6 different organization. How can I best work around this limitation?

To bypass the limitation for the Ohio Scholarship Donation Credit (SGO) in TurboTax Desktop when you have more than two organizations, aggregate the total donations for each spouse ($750 max per person) and list them under the first two charities, or use the "Other" or "Multiple" organization option if available. Keep detailed records of all 6 donations for your files.

Thanks for the response Mary.

There is no option to select "multiple" or "other."

1) Is there a way to request more fields be added to this input for future releases of turbo tax

2) I was planning on using turbo tax to submit my taxes to the State of Ohio. Is there a way to include a note regarding this issue and have it addressed with the submittal?

1. Yes. Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab.
