Why is my NJ e-filing constantly rejected with /ReturnState/ReturnDataState/FormNJ1040/Body/OtherDesignContributions/CharityOrgName - Data in the return is missing or invalid? TurboTax says everything is accurate.

Did you have any charitable donation?

Some TurboTax Online customers are experiencing an issue when trying to enter their charitable cash donations when claiming the Standard Deduction.

If you’re receiving the error check message, enter the amount of donations you made up to the maximum limit per your filing status.

For Married Filing Jointly, the maximum amount to claim is $600. For Single filers, the maximum amount to claim is $300.

    MayaD,

Thank you for your response. I finally reached the TurboTax support representatives and the issue is that they have not completed all of the tax forms for NJ. The expected completion date is 2/20/2022. You may also want to note that there is a bug in TT where even though I file jointly the software puts $300 in the 1040 federal form instead of my actual deduction amount, which is more than $300.
