Residence is Kentucky. I worked in Kentucky in summer and West Virginia when in college. How or where do I enter my W-2 for WV, as instructions say not to select West Virginia as another W-2 income?

Enter all of your W-2s in the W-2 section. In the Personal Information section, enter WV in the Other State Income field, and prepare the WV return before you prepare your resident KY return.

How do I file a nonresident state return?

Hi DawnC. Thank you so much for your response to my initial question. I have a follow-up question. My residence state is Kentucky and West Virginia is a reciprocal state. I only earned W-2 income in WV. Do I still answer "yes" to "I made money in states other than Kentucky" and then select WV on the drop down list of states?

@BingNBob You don't have to indicate that you made money in other states if the other state is a reciprocal state.
