Failure to electronically file VA state taxes

I am ready to electronically file and continue to get this ERROR message:  Not eligible for electronic filing... Reason:  the return includes witholding from sources OTHER THAN the following... [LIST includes 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, and1099-B]

The problem is that all of my withholding is reported from these "accepted" forms.  Turbo Tax tried to tell me that the problem is at the state end.  The state has confirmed that they accept anything Turbo Tax sends and that the problem is with Turbo Tax.  Please help!

It's easy for the state to divert the attention away from themselves when they are not sure and also trying to help many for various reasons.

It's common for a state to want to see the documents for state withholding when it's unusual such as anything other than a W-2 or possibly a

1099-R. When this happens, they simply want you to mail the tax return. If this is your situation, this may be the reason. My advice is to mail the return with any document that does have state withholding to eliminate a letter and longer processing time.
