I am assuming you want to know where to enter a charitable donation carryover.

    1. Select Federal from the left side menu.
    2. Select Deductions and Credits toward the upper left.
    3. Expand the list and scroll down to Charitable Donations.
    4. Expand the section and click Start to the right of Charitable Donations Carryover from 2020.
    5. Ander the next question Yes.
    6. Enter your expenses on the next few screens.  Note that you will asked for non-cash and cash donations separately as well as which year your donation was carried over from.

Thanks for responding, Julie; but no, that's not my issue:  I do not have a charitable donation carryover; that would require me to have donated over 60% of my AGI, in 2020; I managed about 10%, as has been my practice for 50 years. My concern is that Turbo Tax entered a number on their worksheet, Line 3, that matches my actual donations in 2020; and that number, combined with my contributions for 2021, carries over to Schedule A and appears on Line 6 there. I suppose I will call TurboTax; I dread trying to explain this to a skeptical listener, but there it is.
