Charges for e-filing state return

This is my first year to use TT.  I filled out the Federal and State returns.  I e-filed the Federal return and was planning to e-file the State return so I filled out the credit card info to pay to e-file the state return.  However I decided not to e-file and printed off the state return and filed by mail.  My credit card was charged an e-file fee even though I didn’t e-file.  I am wondering how I can get this charge taken off of my credit card.

When you use TurboTax online, you are charged a state tax preparation fee even if you do not efile.

Since you paid the state e-file fee with a credit card and the state tax return was not e-filed, you will need to contact TurboTax support to get the charge removed or canceled.

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
