Question

CA 540 software code error (Alimony)

I do not pay Alimony the federal worksheet reflects this. When I go to CA State 540 error check, It errors on alimony paid, SSN of person.  There is no way around it. Will not allow me to file electronically. because of ongoing error.

    Still no solution. I can not e-file do to ongoing error. Very frustrating

    Please try to delete the form and see if that resolves the issue. You can find instructions for deleting a form here.

    Deleting the form mad no difference. I tried several times with no change.
