Transfer of Partner Information glitch

TT 2021 Business will not transfer 2020 Partner Information. Cannot contact anyone with knowledge of software at TT. Cannot fix by simply reentering data because it messes up records. Very Irritating

Transfer of Partner Information glitch

Does it not transfer any partner information or is additional information needed.

For example, I transferred a test return from 2020 into the 2021 version of TurboTax Business and the "Has an Ownership Change" line at the bottom of the first screen that appears after the transfer reads, "Needs information".

Thanks for trying, that was not the issue.

Were you able to determine the issue?

This has been reported in the past and, in many cases, it was a result of an inaccurate entry (for whatever reason) on the prior year return.

Yes, I found the reason without any help or guidance from TT after 5 hours on the phone with them. Last years K1 box , "Final K1" had been inadvertently checked. I'm sure I did it but don't know why I would have. It was a simple solution and clearly my fault, but I don't understand why TT wouldn't point the inquiry to that at the lowest help level. I spent all that time with one help person who talked to the next level person then to the next level person but would not connect me to them and basically read the web site boiler plate answers back to me, ie., "you can't transfer personal 1040 data to 1065 tax returns," duh.
