I am on the last step of doing my taxes using TurboTax Deluxe software edition.
On "Additional ID verification" screen I am being asked for my ID information.
However, dropdown to select "state where ID was issued" does not work.
I tried clicking, using keyboard, using full screen, exiting software.
(Possibly list of states is not attached to it?.. Looks like TurboTax have struggled with lists before).
Nothing helps and it would not let me proceed.
I am not able to file my taxes.
Help asap please.

* "State where ID was issued" dropdown not working
Try hitting tab to select the state where ID was issued box and then typing the state in once it is selected. Then hit enter.
I have tried that. Same issue.
here are the ways I have tried:
tabbing on keyboard then using arrows,
tabbing on keyboard then typing state,
clicking on dropdown using my mouse,
same in full screen mode,
restarting the software,
coming back to the screen.
same issue - it seems the dropdown might be empty/not attached to a list?
Try the troubleshooting steps in this TurboTax help article.
Check your Internet connection. Logging out of TurboTax and back in, changing browsers (Chrome generally works well), or clearing your cache and cookies often helps.
Every computer has a unique combination of components, settings, programs, services, and users. If you have tried everything and still have this issue, see this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
Update: the issue is FIXED this morning. Able to choose a state now in any of the ways I tried before.
i didn’t update the software.
thank you for the prompt fix!
Again - I am not in a browser, not using TurboTax online.
I'm using the software. And yes - all logical steps has been tried.
(Besides extreme and unneeded ones - I won’t be refragmenting my computer disk because TurboTax doesn’t handle lists well)
