I am unable to submit our business return, as I am directed to the Statement A - QBI Pass Through Entity Reporting where it asks for each shareholders "EIN", we do not have "EIN's", we have SSN. I feel as though this form should be asking for a "TIN" so we can enter the appropriate number for each shareholder. Has anyone else run into this, and how do I enter the correct information.
I have attempted to enter our socials in the designated space but the formatting is wrong. The next thing it requests is for the shareholder name to be entered but the field won't allow me to input any information.

If you are willing to experiment, you could try to start an 1120-S from scratch and see if the behavior is the same.
It seems unlikely that the transfer would cause this issue, but it is certainly possible.
You might want to contact Support.
What is the TurboTax phone number? (intuit.com)
In the interim, I will pass this issue along to the moderators.
I called Friday, and although they were very nice we were unable to find a solution. I was directed to call the IRS at [phone number removed] which I attempted, but there is no apparent extension that would offer the assistance that I need. I believe this is a mistake on this form, in looking back at 2020 our social was entered on the line in question.
They might have been unable to find a solution as a result of being unable to reproduce the issue.
I have a copy of TurboTax Business and cannot reproduce the issue in a test return. However, the issue could be the result of an artefact from a transfer.
Regardless, you can check Forms Mode and see if you are able to enter an SSN on the Schedule K-1 Worksheet (which should propagate to Statement A).
The K-1 worksheet does in fact show the correct information {SSN} but it is not transferring as needed. The formatting on the page in question is specifically for an EIN vs a SSN. That is the only issue I can image, I think this an issue with the way the software was programed. It's a XX-XXXXXXX vs XXX-XX-XXXX

I suppose a programming error is possible but, if that were the case, why does my Statement show an SSN in that format?
Hmmm, even more curious here's what I'm dealing with on the same page
My screenshot was taken from Forms Mode while yours appears to be from the Interview (Step-by-Step).
Regardless, and as a shot in the dark, did you transfer a 2020 1120-S into the program for 2021 or did you start a 2021 return from scratch?
I did transfer information from last year
Same formatting in my forms mode...

Ok, threw away all my hard work and completely started a new return from scratch without transferring last year's information and had no issues. This confirms to me that there is a flaw in the software. Done, filed and over it.

It has been reported. Maybe they will fix it.
I had the exact same issue and cant resolve it. I have not started a new return from scratch - just transferred the data from last year's software. I have tried deleting the form "Statment A " under forms but it re-appears when I try to e-file.
Where do I report to Intuit so they can fix the problem.
Thanks
I am also have the same problem. I have tried updating in form mode and also tried deleting the form. So frustrating.
