During Review - proof for errors, I received an error message in State Tax form 3805E line 23 which needs to be BLANK but Turbo Tax defaults to "0." entry. Can't remove or override it. As a result I can't electronically transmit my State Tax return. Federal e-file submitted ok. Why?
I have deleted the form then re-added the form expecting to tab past that field, but it again inserted a "0." in that field. Keep getting error message. I received no payments in prior years (prior to 2022).
How do I fix this so that I may submit my return to State of CA electronically? I paid $25 to file electronically. Now I am considering printing the CA state return and mailing it. If I do so I want my $25 refunded to me.

I'm sorry you are having a difficult time reaching a live agent through the prompts of the phone system.
Another way would be to create an online account if you haven't already, and follow the steps of contacting us in the TurboTax Online instructions. You can chat or request an agent to call you through the online account, and the agent will still be able to assist you on the Desktop version. Unfortunately, I do not have any additional numbers I can provide, but the online version should get you where you need to be.

I call that number but can't get to a live agent. they only ask for email or phone text #. Frustrating. How do I get to the live agent?

I'm using the software disk on my pc. Turbo Tax Premium version 2022. I've executed all the prompts for software updates when alerted. I've called that telephone number multiple times but can't get to a live operator. Is there a special extension # I can enter to get to the live agent? I don't want the phone prompt for text or email again, and again and again. Grrr.
