I did not receive all my return last year and I dont have a clue how to find out why.

I understand you did not receive the full amount you were expecting on your filed federal return.  You can request a Record of Account History transcript from the IRS which will reflect any changes the IRS made to your filed tax return.

If you had any back taxes, child support, or other items the IRS can offset your refund also.
