Do I report info from a 1099r that I received following death of my mother

Yes, it is an inherited retirement and it is taxed the same as it would have been taxed for the decedent. Enter it under the Retirement Income. The code 4 in Box 7 designates that it is inherited so Turbo Tax will know to ask some followup questions. I am sorry for your loss.
