Why won't the IRS accept my return? They ask for my wife's total income. But we filed jointly. She doesn't have a separate total income.

We filed jointly in 2019. IRS says my wife's total was not $0, but they will not accept our total as hers either. We both received Social Security.

If you filed a joint return for 2019 then the AGI on line 8b of your 2019 Form 1040 is the same for each of you.
