Why didn't i get a 1099-R?
I took out a loan from my 401K for the down payment of the purchase of my house. Why didn't i get a 1099-R?
You do not report loans on your tax return, only actual distributions and withdrawals. If you don't pay back the loan or you stop working there the loan will turn into a taxable distribution.
