What state retirement information/form are you referring to?
You may be able to download a Form 1099-R if the plan is administered by one of the TurboTax partners.
See this TurboTax website for partner information - https://www.intuit.com/partners/fdp/implementation-support/tax-import/program-overview/partner-list/
See this TurboTax support FAQ for downloading a Form 1099 - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/import-1099s/L2...
TurboTax stopped importing your state 1099-R information because your state stopped partnering with TurboTax for importing the information. It's up to the state to decide whether or not to partner with TurboTax for importing 1099-R information. TurboTax is happy to accept any state or financial institution as an import partner, but it requires some effort by the state agency or financial institution that pays the retirement income. It's the state that makes the decision, not TurboTax.
If your state has stopped partnering with TurboTax for importing 1099-R information, all you can do is ask the state agency that handles your retirement to reconsider partnering with TurboTax. In the meantime, you have to enter your 1099-R manually.
