Why am I seeing: "Don't enter any of the $19,682.00 in regular elective contributions that you made to employer-provided qualified retirement accounts." WAY too high.

I didn't contribute anything close to this. Where would Turbo Tax have derived this number?

Go back to the W-2 and edit box 12

Was it more like $196.82?

IF you hit the comma instead of the decimal point....the number turns into the huge one.
