Where do I put Teacher Retirement System contributions?
In Illinois, educators pay into TRS, and I am wondering under which category this falls for deductions.
You only enter it from your W2, nowhere else. It comes out of your pay pre-tax and has already been deducted from the wages in box 1 and you can't deduct it again.
