Where do I enter a 1099-c

Please follow the directions below to enter your Form 1099-C:

  1. Log in and open your return
  2. Click the Search box in the top-right screen, and type Form 1099-C, and select the jump to link in the search results.
  3. On the next screen, select Yes.
  4. Select the type of cancelled debt you had.
  5. Follow the interview prompts to finish filing your cancelled debt.

Note: If you received a Form 1099-C for your main home and a Form 1099-C for other cancelled debt, you will not be able to use Turbotax as our software does not support this.
