Where do I enter 1099-g
What did you get it for? Probably unemployment?
You can type "unemployment compensation" into the search box at the top of your return and hit find. It should give you a Jump To link to take you right to it.
Or Enter a 1099G for unemployment under
Federal on left
Wages & Income at top
Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

Where do I enter 1099-g
To enter unemployment compensation -
- Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
- Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
- Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
- Under Unemployment
- On Unemployment and Paid Family Leave, click the start or update button
Or enter unemployment compensation in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to unemployment compensation
To enter a state or local tax refund (Form 1099-G) -
- Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
- Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
- Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
- Scroll down to 1099-MISC and Other Common Income
- On State and Local Tax Refunds on Form 1099-G, click the start or update button
Or enter state refunds in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to state refunds
