I purchased an electric induction stove and had to have a new 240 outlet wired in, so I would like to take advantage of this rebate.

Those rebates are not available on a federal or state tax return.

The government program provides funds to the various states if you are eligible you receive the rebate at the time you make your purchase.

That does not make sense though; those rebates are income based, and I doubt your appliance store of choice and/or any electrician is processing this kind of information/rebate.
