When will the IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) Form 1099-R section be available? The program indicates "available soon" as of 12/26/25 ?

It's incredibly inconvenient to not have this section available before the end of the tax year.

No one on this forum will know when TurboTax will update these sections.

As stated on the web page when accessing these sections - 

When it's ready, we'll let you know using the email you used to sign in to TurboTax.

I bought TurboTax in November to plan for 2026.  The program for Pension & IRA is waiting for an update.  Please give a date for the update.  Losing confidence in TurboTax.

@Robert207 you can sign up in the desktop app for email alerts from the section you're interested in.  If you see the tool for form availability above and select 1040 a lot of the forms will be available in January, a lot are slated for next week so hopefully that happens and we'll significant updates starting.

But no one here has any other dates as the tool doesn't show it by 1099 just resulting forms for filing.

If you need something so urgently for 2026 that you can't wait for these updates then use alternate s/w or online calculators like this

I asked for the email response twice.  Both times I get a "moving expense" form as a reply.  That section (IRA, 1099R) seems to have a huge disconnect.  Is there possibly a problem that doesn't involve just waiting for the IRS to respond?

So inconvenient to not ha e this section at yearend to estimate taxes and .ake tax payment. Had to revert to pencil and paper. I can not see what IRS has changed that requires this section to be delayed. 30+ year user of TT. Cmon guys-- give us an update!!!!
