When I attempt to enter my 1099-C it says I’ll have to come back to it as Congress is currently changing the law. When will I be able to enter the 1099-C?

You should be able to enter the 1099-C (Cancellation of debt ).

Please follow the steps below to enter the form in TurboTax:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to Federal Taxes.
3. Go to Wage and Income.
4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and click show more.
5. Scroll down to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and click Revisit.
6. Scroll down to Cancellation of debt (Form 1099-C) or the abandonment and/or acquisition of secured property (Form 1099-A) and click Revisit.
