Whats the difference between Social security tips vs Allocated tips?

I've never worked at a job where I have had to fill out these boxes, so I'm a bit confused.

I serve food in a restaurant that employs over 10 people who receive tips. My employer takes our tips that we get directly from customers and adds the amount onto our pay stubs. We receive our tips in cash every day.
My employer wrote the amount of tips I got all year in box 7 (social security tips)
Is there supposed to be something in box 8? (allocated tips)

Your Social Security Tips are tips that have been reported to your employer. Your allocated tips are tips that have not been reported to your employer. Allocated tips are tips that your employer feels should have been reported. Please view the TurboTax FAQ below for further explanation.
