A 1099R is for retirement income of various sorts.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

In TurboTax Online, follow these steps to report the income from an IRS form 1099-R:

• Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
• Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages & income.
• Scroll down to Retirement Plans Social Security.  Click the down arrow to the right.
• Click to the right of IRA 401K Pension Plan Withdrawals.
• At the screen Did you get a 1099-R, select Yes.
• At the screen Select your situation to know what to expect, select and Continue.
• At the screen Let's import your tax info, select the provider.
• Follow the screens to download the 1099-R retirement income.
• You may enter the 1099-R retirement income by other means by selecting Change how I enter my form at the screen Let's get your tax info.
• You may download the form from the provider, upload a PDF, JPG or PNG file from your computer, snap a photo or type it in yourself.
