Turbotax is entering an amount for my ordinary dividends that is exactly twice the amount that is on my form 1099. Is this correct or an error?

If you''re just looking at a summary and you have both ordinary and qualified dividends, it may just be adding them together.  Look at your  1040 to see.  Click on Tax Tools on the left, then Tools.

Choose to View your Tax Summary then to Preview Your 1040.
