TurboTax only enters on your tax return the amounts you entered for taxes withheld from a W-2 or a Form 1099.

Go back to the income section of the program and verify what you have entered and make sure you did not enter the same form twice.

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Wages & Income

Review all of your income entries

You might need to go back and check what was entered under Wages & Income.

Look at all the tax forms that you entered that had withholding listed and make sure the program did not enter something twice.

If you uploaded a form, you might want to delete it and manually type it in.

  • To Delete a Form  using TurboTax Online:
Select Tax Tools on the left side-bar
    Select Tools from that drop-down
Select “Delete a form” on the TOOLS CENTER screen
Select the form, schedule and/or worksheet you wish to remove, in your case the forms that listed withholding or that you uploaded
