TurboTax 2025 401k section when will it be available?

When  will the 401K section be available????

The Form 1099-R section is estimated to be finalized and available in TurboTax on 01/21/2026

The TurboTax section for IRAs, 401-Ks, and 1099-R etc. is scheduled to have an update on January 21st 2026.

Today's update has resolved the issue in the 1099-R section. If you cannot reach it, follow these steps:

Online:

1. Log out of your return and try one or more of the following:
   • Don't use Internet Explorer.
   • Clear cache and cookies,
   • Sign in using a different browser.
   • Sign in using a different device.
2. Log back into your return.
   • Enter the information again.

Desktop version: 

1. Delete the form
2. Save your return while closing the program.
3. Update the program
4. Open
5. Enter the information again.
