Total distributions from all my funds was 27648.49. Total RMD was 27314.49 Since I exceeded the required amount, why do I owe more?

Some where the math is not correct.

Turbo Tax changed this year. When it asks about the RMD it is only asking for that one 1099R. You need to enter the amount in box 1 on that 1099R for the RMD, not the total RMD for all even if they would add up to more.

I amat the form that says rmd amount should not be less than the distribution amount that is for the rmd. What does this mean. I took out more was required?
