How do I enter the total dollar amounts of proceeds and cost basis from the 1099 b form if the enter box is limiting the total amount? How can I work around this limit?

the digit limit on the enter box is 9,999,999.  I did a lot of day trading and I am over that number....how do I proceed

The work-around for this issue is to manually enter the original 1099-B as several smaller 1099-B's that keep all the entries well below the limitation of 9,999,999, but together would add up to the amount in each box of the original 1099-B.

But sometimes even that doesn't work. You may have to do it all manually on paper forms from the IRS.
