The last day I worked was 12/15/2021 I have a lawyer who is working on getting my social security benefits I had a life changing stroke

I made around 3000 dollars this was the only money I had made for 2021 do I still have to do my taxes this year

You would only have to file a return if your income was from self employment.

No, if you were an employee in 2021 and you only earned $3,000 and had no other income, you are not required to file.

You might still need to file state taxes.  Also, are you married, and did your spouse have income?
