The irs took my refund last year. I think it was an error. I want to make 100% sure they don't take it again this year.

If they "took" your refund then they shiukd have sent a letter telling you why 2-3 weeks after they took it.

TurboTax does not receive any information about possible offsets to your refund.

If the offset was an error, you can dispute it with the agency that received your refund.

Questions about tax offsets should be directed to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service.
