Taxes: Qualified vs NonQualified 1099R

I received a 1099-R from The Virginia Retirement System since I retired as a teacher. Is this income considered Qualified or Nonqualified if an amount is received monthly into a checking account?

Almost all retirement pensions are qualified. But the 1099-R payer can tell you for sure.
