I moved to Washington state in 2020.  It has no state income tax. I receive a pension from the state of Oregon. Is that considered income from Oregon & therefore subject to Oregon state income tax?

When exactly did you move, and did you received any of the pension before arriving in WA?

I moved on January 9th and did have a pension deposit on January 2. I spoke with the state pension rep after posting & she said I would not have to pay a state income tax for 2020. I hope she’s right.  I think I’ll trust Turbo Tax to steer me in the right direction. Interested in your thoughts though.
