I installed solar panels in 2023 and plan to take rebates. Meanwhile, I am paying estimated taxes.

Should I discontinue the estimated payments?

You could reduce your estimated payment by the amount of your estimated energy credit.

Am I correct that the solar rebate is only the amount up to what is owed in taxes? and the remainder is moved to the next year?
