Simplified Method question on a non-simplified amount (form)

I received a pension after my husbands death and it's not marked Simplified however Turbo Tax wants an amount on line 3.  My 1099-R doesn't have anything there, it's blank.  What should I do?

If the box is blank and turbotax will not allow you to leave it that way simply put 0 in the box and that should solve the problem.
