Retirement advice

Hi,

Turned 63 in May and would LOVE to retire asap but don't where to begin. Is there a blueprint or something that I can access that won;t waste my time? My biggest concern is health care costs until I turn 65. Is there a target amount of money that I will need to stay afloat? Or is there a FP somewhere in the Kans City Mo area that won't charge an arm and a leg and lead me where I need to go. Thanks

Hi pamelakurt,

I hope you are having a good day!  There are many considerations when you retire, not only the income but the expenses, such as healthcare costs.

Here is a great article , but each situation is unique depending on lifestyle and expenses; https://blog.turbotax.intuit.com/income-and-investments/five-tips-to-help-you-figure-out-how-much-to-save-for-retirement-15608/

We do not have a referral list for financial planners, but definitely check reviews as you research planners.

I hope you find this information helpful!
