i included my wifes social security by mistake. How do I remove it as I am filing singly

Go to the wages and income section, to the section for reporting SSA1099 and select "retirement plans and social security" select edit and remove the amount, then you can uncheck the box.  If you go forward through the section then it will take you back and you can edit and say no to social security income on SSA1099
