My wife and I both are over 70 1/2, filing joint return. Can I take summ of RMDs (my and my wife) from my IRA only and keep my spouse IRA untouched?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
No. IRA = INDIVIDUAL Retirement Account. RMD amounts are based on your individual longevity.
You must each take your own RMD from your own IRA.
