On my 1040 form it shows X's in the checking account information but the checking or saving boxes are not checked should that checked.

No, those boxes should not be checked on the form you are looking at. TurboTax prints that form with your banking information "masked" for security reasons.  The file sent to the IRS with your e-filed return will have the information you entered when you prepared the return in TurboTax.
