I'm from NH and they're asking me for form DP-10, saying that I need to enter a payer ID. I never got the form and they won't let me skip it. What should I do? THX!

You must file NH form DP-10 S if you were residents or inhabitants of New Hampshire for any part of the tax year and you received more than $2,400 of gross interest and/or dividend income for a single individual or $4,800 of such income for a married couple filing a joint New Hampshire return.

If you are not required to file this form you can just delete the NH return in the STATE tab.

On that form where do I find the payer ID? It is requiring me to put one and I don’t know what that is.

It depends if you have a filing requirement in New Hampshire. You only need to file a new Hampshire state return if you need to report more than $2,400 of gross interest and/or dividend income for a single individual or $4,800 of such income for a married couple.

If this pertains to you, you need to file a New Hampshire state return with a DP 10, with all the information it requires. If you don't, delete your New Hampshire state return by selecting state and then delete the return when it appears on the screen. Here is a DP-10 instruction site for further reference.

I am from NH and because I did receive more than $2400 in interest and dividends it is telling my I need to file a DP-10.  There is no help how to do this though.  The first step asks for a Payer ID.  Where would I find that?

The payer ID is on the 1099-INT just below the Payer's name and address.

Although the TurboTax format may be different, these are the NH DP-10 Instructions. They may help your understanding of the FORM.
