Form 1099-R Box 2a empty

We received a 1099-R 

Box 1 has an amount 

Box 2a is empty

Box 2b has an X in it (taxable amount not determined)

Box 4  has the amount of the federal income tax withheld

Box 7 has a 7 in it

That is it! Not sure when entering if I should leave Box 2a blank or put a zero there. It changes the amount of taxed owed significantly both ways. Someone please help!

Leave box 2a blank. Do not enter zero. Pay careful attention to the questions after you enter the 1099-R. Keep going through the questions until you get back to "Your 2023 Income Summary."
